Is YOUR Child the next Face of Connie’s Kids?

Hi All & Happy Fall!~ The Model Search is on for the cutest kids in town to model my new fall/winter/holiday styles! 

Is your child the next face of Connie’s Kids? There’s only one way to find out! Submit your child’s photo today for a chance to be featured in Connie’s Kids ads, on banners, and Facebook timeline, as well as being seen worldwide on the Connie’s Kids web site!

To enter your child, email me their name, sex, age, & size they are wearing NOW to connie@connieskids.com. Also include your phone number, although notifications will be done by email.  Please, send no more than 2 photos. They don’t have to be professional, & it can be just a head shot, or full body. Entries must be received no later than Oct. 31, 2015. Please, DO NOT send me private messages on Facebook, or post on the FB page. Only entries received at the email address provided will be considered.

I can use newborns through size 10, boys and girls, but mostly need infants & toddlers.  If chosen, you will be notified through email & will be given a selection of outfits to choose from. Due to the logistics of me not having an actual store front anymore, the item your child models will need to be purchased. Your child will then receive a FREE modeling shoot, courtesy of Knox Studios! ($90 value).

You will be asked to sign a release at Knox Studios to allow us to use your photos in our advertising. These photos will ONLY be used for advertising by Knox Studios and Connie’s Kids. If you wish to purchase any of the photos, they will be available to you at a discounted price. If you are NOT local, your child can still participate, but you will have to provide your own photos.

That’s it! I only need a few models, so please don’t get your feelings hurt if your child isn’t chosen this time around. I have certain sizes & styles to fill, and your child just might not be the right fit this time, but they may work out on the next go round!

I am still on cloud nine over having my own Connie’s Kids label & can’t wait to get the word out to the WORLD! New styles will be arriving within the next few weeks, so I want to get those shot as soon as possible! I am still so excited for this new & thrilling chapter for Connie’s Kids! I can’t do ANYTHING without all of you, so please accept my heartfelt gratitude!

Calling all Cuties! New Model Search for Hampton Roads Children!

Could YOUR child be the next face of Connie’s Kids? 

Connie’s Kids is at it again!

We are receiving our beautiful spring styles, and are ready to give some more  children the opportunity to begin their modeling career!

We are also in need of advertising photos to show off our 2013 Spring lines,  so we have partnered with our favorite local photographer,
Knox Studios,  who produce beautiful portraits of children of all ages, to work with us on this project.

    We are looking for cheerful, cooperative,  spirited boys and girls who love to be in front of a camera.  

We can use ages newborn to 8 years old.

What is required:

1. After “liking” Connie’s Kids and  Knox Studios  facebook page, please email 1 or 2 (please no more than 2!) current  jpg photos to Connie@connieskids.com  for consideration.  It can be a head shot, or full body.  It does not have to be a professional photo, but the better quality it is, the better we can see the child for consideration.  Please provide child’s name, age, size they are wearing right now, your name, email address, and phone numbers where you can be reached.
2. If your child is chosen, parents will be required to sign a consent form, releasing the child’s photos to be used for print, internet, and store advertisements and promotions by Connie’s Kids, as well as Knox Studios.  Some prints may also be used as display in Connie’s Kids! These will be offered to you at great savings when they are replaced.
We will not share your child’s photo with any other businesses.

What you receive:

1. No purchase necessary, and if so desired,  all children selected will be able to purchase the outfit for their shoot at 25% off retail, and will receive a 15% discount on all other purchases made at Connie’s Kids until the end of 2013.

2. The photo shoot is completely FREE, and if you wish to purchase any of the photos from the shoot, you will receive them at a deeply discounted price.

3. BRAGGING rights  ,  that YOUR child has been chosen to model for a well known children’s shop and photographer, as well as reaching a worldwide audience on Connie’s Kids & Knox Studios facebook and web site.

All entries must be received no later than Jan. 26, 2013.  If your child is selected, you will receive an congratulatory email, with instructions on setting up a fitting, and scheduling your shoot.  The photo shoots will be staggered throughout the season,  since our merchandise arrives at different times.  Your child may not hear anything until later this spring, as we will notify those chosen when we have received the outfits we want them to model.

There are so many beautiful children in Hampton Roads, (aren’t ALL children beautiful?),   it will be nearly impossible to choose just a few!

We will have to make the final selections based on the size clothing arriving that we choose to feature in our fall ads.

All children not chosen for this shoot will be kept on file for future opportunities.

Outfit ideas for AMAZING holiday photos!

I know, I know, you haven’t even carved your pumpkins yet, but the holidays have a way of sneaking up on us all, and if you’re planning on sending out photos cards for Christmas, NOW is the time to have them done!

 I get asked daily about the best way to coordinate the family, so I decided to share of few of my favorites with you. Hopefully it will inspire you to move forward, and get those great photos you are dreaming of!

This first group is a wonderful, colorful holiday theme, combining  tradition with an updated look. The green corduroy overalls by Boys n Berries feature an adorable Santa face, and can be worn long after the holidays by reversing to the back and white houndstooth side. The classic red cable knit vest can bring your older child into the picture, by pairing with many different solid colored or plaid slacks, to blend with the rest. White smocked dresses have always been perfect for infant and toddler girls, and this year we have the smocked ornaments around a bishop neckline, for an updated twist.

While not exactly “funky”, these Christmas tree appliqued sets from Zu put a new zing in holiday colors, by using lime green and hot pink, instead of the traditional red and green.

If you really want to jazz things up, mix in this cute legging set or presents jumper, both by Peaches n Cream!

Looking for timeless tradition? For the true classic look, try the combination of coordinates from Cotton Blue & Cotton Pink,  in the traditional holiday plaid group.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By sticking with one designer, you will know all your colors will match perfectly, which can sometimes be a problem when combining brands, since you can get different shades of the same color, making the grouping look “off”.

Here is a great example of using different pieces from one brand, Petit Ami,  that will coordinate all ages of your kids.

 

Going for a more casual look? Using knitwear or even Christmas pajamas, these can be some of the cutest photos of all! Le Top has some great velour coordinates, just perfect for holiday photos!

Or mix & match with styles from Little Me, or even Kissy Kissy!

 

Going for a more formal portrait? A grouping like this will give you the ultimate in dressy holiday fashion!

Of course, there are hundreds of options, but hopefully this gives you a good jumping off point!
